THEME: "SNOW VILLAGE". The basic motive - modern interpretation of the Log hut.
Interpretation and other elements of village, such as a barn, restaurant, a tower or church is possible.

To each project for realisation the site along a uniform foot route is allocated. As building materials it is possible to use only snow and ice and water. It is necessary to provide a night-time lighting of object and the information tablet. The great attention will be given to safety of objects as after festival end the constructed arh-object remains in territory of an ancestral lands and will be included in the excursion program daily visited in hundreds of children!!!

PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS: We are glad to all creative people - to architects, designers, artists, sculptors, actors and musicians.
For realisation of the ideas any wishing participant, or a team, can send the project (in format JPEG in the size 2000x2200 pixels on the sample) on competition till January, 27th on goroda.fest@gmail.com. With the project it is necessary to send comments, an e-mail address, and wishes on a line-up which will be published on a site together with the sketch. The right to realisation will be received by 33 projects which have been selected by jury.

All other participants can choose the pleasant project from won competition and to take part in building together with authors. As a result probably any quantity the person in a team, and as simultaneous presence of one participant at several projects.
Formation of commands can occur prior to the beginning of festival, in day of official opening or during festival. Prior to the beginning of command festival are formed by e-mail specified by the author of the project.
 

WORKING CONDITIONS: the platform, the limited quantity of snow and ice blocks, combustive-lubricating materials for the benzo-tool, an electricity of 220 Vt will be given Each command for work., manual saws, buckets, shovels. Whenever possible, the request to have the tool.

THE PRELIMINARY PROGRAM:

27 january - deadline of reception of sketches on competition
30 january - the announcement of results of competition
14 february – arrival of a command of "Policemen".
20 february – the beginning of arrival of the basic participants. Moving and the beginning of civil work.
21 february – Presentation of projects and preliminary division into commands, solemn opening of festival and continuation of civil work.
In the evening the cultural program – lectures on architecture and film sessions directly on a building site or in assembly hall, performances
of partners and visitors of festival, presentation of foreign teams, master classes on work with snow and ice is planned
27 february 18:00 – presentation of constructed "Town".
28 february – the beginning of departure of participants of festival.
